In 2008, RMF selected AAAS to receive an endowment to further the goals of RMF and to build on the legacy of Charles Valentine Riley by establishing an annual lecture. Descriptions and links to records of the lectures are available online.
RMF joined with the Farm Foundation NPF and five scientific societies to organize the Agriculture, Food, Nutrition, and Natural Resource R&D Round Table: Research Partnerships Yield Greater Societal Returns.
Beginning in 2014, RMF began working with partners like Iowa State University to develop a unifying message in support of food, agricultural, and natural resources research.
RMF collaborates with scientific societies and AAAS to contribute to the annual R&D report on the federal budget.
